The Bank of Jackson Hole (BoJH) is pleased to announce Doug Langen has joined Bank of Jackson Hole Trust & Wealth Partners as Senior Vice President, Director & Chief Investment Officer. In this role, Langen will be advising families on portfolio design, investment management, and financial legacy solutions, as well as overseeing a staff of experienced trust and wealth management specialists. Langen’s predecessor of Trust & Wealth Dale Schuman will be staying on through the end of the year to provide a smooth transition for clients.
Langen brings three decades of experience in banking and financial services to his position, including significant expertise in asset allocation and investment management for individuals, not-for-profit organizations, municipalities and corporate boards. He spent the majority of his prior tenure in the Indianapolis area as an executive for STAR Financial and in private practice.
“I was ready for an opportunity in a community-centered bank with a deep local history and an exceptional ability to adapt to a changing world,” says Langen. “Bank of Jackson Hole is exactly that kind of bank, and Trust & Wealth Partners is a premier group with an incredible breadth of resources and a dedicated focus on long-term relationships. That’s very important to me.”
“I look forward to coordinating with all the financial services the Bank offers,” Langen adds. “We are available for more than just trusts and investments – we help people live their best lives and achieve their ultimate goals.”
BoJH CEO Pete Lawton says he is very pleased that Langen has joined the team. “Doug has a clear view of the level of service our clients expect, and he has the experience to help develop and deliver what we need now and in the future.”
Langen says he already feels at home.
“Jackson Hole and the surrounding region combine so many of the amenities of an active arts and business culture along with unique access to recreation and unmatched beauty. I’ve been impressed with the community’s openness and warmth, and I look forward to the opportunity to participate at many levels.”
