Clarene Law Scholarship Tribute Oct 12th, 2022 Blog & News BOJH News Bank of Jackson Hole Supports New Scholarship for Teton County High School Seniors, in Honor of Clarene Law The family of Clarene Law, along with Bank of Jackson Hole, are pleased to present a new scholarship to one graduating senior who exudes the character and drive of local lawmaker, entrepreneur and beloved community member, the late Clarene Law. Law was probably best known, with her husband, Creed, and her family, for her role in our town’s lodging business. The family owns the 49er Inn, Elk Country Inn, Antler Inn and Cowboy Village Resort. She spent seven terms serving in the Wyoming House of Representatives. Driven by the goal to help people, Law remembered everyone’s name she met, and worked tirelessly to support her employees, constituents, and family. “Clarene did so many things for this community that people didn’t even know about. We are so fortunate to have learned from her wisdom, passion, and business acumen. We, at Bank of Jackson Hole, are grateful to Clarene and her family’s contributions to this community and are happy we can give back through this scholarship in her honor.” stated Pete Lawton, Vice Chairman and Executive Managing Director at Bank of Jackson Hole. Applicants should have an interest in business, politics, and philanthropy and a deep appreciation for family, education, and community. For more information on the scholarship, please contact Jack Glasbrenner at the Fund for Public Education (307) 732-9414, jack@fundforpubliceducation.org The Clarene Law Memorial Fund at the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole has also been established in Clarene’s honor.
